Lalu Tuhan mengutus malaikat yang melenyapkan semua kesateria gagah perkasa pemimpin dan panglima yang ada di perkhemahan raja Asyur sehingga dia pulang ke negerinya dengan muka yang diaibkan Ketika dia masuk ke dalam kuil dewanya anak-anak kandungnya sendiri membunuhnya dengan pedang di sana

Tuhan menyerahkan Yoyakim raja Yehuda ke dalam tangannya berserta sebahagian daripada perkakas-perkakas Rumah Allah Nebukadnezar membawa kesemua itu ke Tanah Sinear ke kuil dewanya Perkakas-perkakas itu dimasukkan ke dalam tempat perbendaharaan dewanya
