Setelah itu ketika Sanherib raja Asyur sedang mengepung Lakhis dengan seluruh tentera kerajaannya dia mengutus para pegawainya ke Yerusalem menemui Hizkia raja Yehuda serta semua orang Yehuda yang ada di Yerusalem dengan pesan
