Bani Harun iaitu para imam yang tinggal di padang ragut di sekitar kota masing-masing melantik orang tertentu dengan disebut nama mereka untuk menyerahkan pembahagian kepada semua lelaki dalam kalangan imam dan bani Lewi yang tercatat dalam salasilah
