Lalu Yoyada menyerahkan pengawasan atas Bait Tuhan kepada para imam Lewi tugas mereka di Bait Tuhan telah dibahagi-bahagikan oleh Daud Dengan suka ria dan dengan nyanyian menurut petunjuk Daud mereka harus mempersembahkan korban bakaran kepada Tuhan seperti tertulis dalam Kitab Suci Taurat yang disampaikan Allah melalui Musa
