Dia menyingkirkan mazbah-mazbah bangsa asing serta bukit-bukit pemujaan Dihancurkannya tiang-tiang berhala dan ditebangnya patung-patung Asyera

Mazbah para Baal dirobohkan di hadapannya dan tugu-tugu mazbah dupa yang menjulang di atasnya ditebangnya Dia memecahkan dan menumbuk patung-patung Asyera patung-patung ukiran dan patung-patung tuangan lalu menghamburkannya ke atas kuburan kalangan yang mempersembahkan korban kepada semua itu
