Firman Allah kepada Salomo Kerana engkau menghendaki hal itu dan engkau tidak meminta kekayaan harta benda kemuliaan nyawa orang yang membencimu atau umur panjang melainkan meminta kebijaksanaan serta pengetahuan supaya dapat memerintah umat-Ku yang engkau telah Kuangkat menjadi raja

Satu lagi yang kulihat di bawah matahari ialah perlumbaan tidak dimenangi baik oleh pelari yang pantas mahupun perjuangan diungguli mereka yang terkuat Begitu jugalah tidak semestinya rezeki untuk yang bijaksana atau kekayaan untuk mereka yang bestari Begitu juga kelebihan bukan khusus bagi kalangan yang mahir kerana masa dan nasib dialami mereka semua
