Kami ialah pendatang dan perantau di hadapan-Mu sama seperti semua nenek moyang kami Hari-hari kami di bumi seperti bayang-bayang dan tidak ada harapan

Ezra 10:2

Lalu Sekhanya anak Yehiel daripada bani Elam berkata kepada Ezra Kami telah berbuat mungkar terhadap Allah kita kerana kami telah memperisteri perempuan asing daripada bangsa-bangsa negeri ini Tetapi sekarang masih ada harapan bagi orang Israel sehubungan dengan hal ini
