Daud menghimpunkan semua pembesar Israel di Yerusalem iaitu para pemimpin suku para pemimpin rombongan yang melayani raja para pemimpin pasukan seribu dan pemimpin pasukan seratus serta para pegawai yang mengawasi segala harta benda dan ternakan milik raja juga para anaknya Mereka dikumpulkan bersama-sama para pegawai istana orang yang berpengaruh dan semua kesateria yang gagah perkasa
