Daripada suku Gad ada juga yang memisahkan diri dan menemui Daud di kubu pertahanan di gurun Mereka itu kesateria yang gagah perkasa kalangan yang mahir dalam ilmu peperangan dan pandai menggunakan perisai serta tombak Paras mereka seperti singa dan tangkasnya seperti kijang di gunung
