Ketua pegawai istana itu memberikan nama baru kepada mereka Daniel dinamakannya Beltsazar Hananya dinamakannya Sadrakh Misael dinamakannya Mesakh dan Azarya dinamakannya Abednego

Daniel 1:8

Daniel bertekad untuk tidak menajiskan diri dengan santapan atau minuman anggur diraja Oleh sebab itu dia meminta kepada ketua pegawai istana supaya diizinkan untuk tidak menajiskan diri

Daniel 1:9

Allah membuat Daniel mendapat belas kasih dan sayang daripada ketua pegawai istana itu

Daniel 1:10

Namun demikian ketua pegawai istana berkata kepada Daniel Aku takut kepada Tuanku Raja yang telah menentukan makanan dan minuman bagi kamu Mengapa baginda harus melihat penampilanmu lebih buruk daripada para anak muda yang sebaya dengan kamu Kamu ini membahayakan kepalaku di hadapan raja

Daniel 1:11

Kemudian Daniel berkata kepada penjaga yang telah ditugaskan oleh ketua pegawai istana untuk mengawasi Daniel Hananya Misael dan Azarya

Kepada keempat-empat orang muda itu Allah mengurniakan pengetahuan dan kemahiran tentang berbagai-bagai tulisan dan ilmu sementara Daniel sendiri dapat memahami berbagai-bagai penglihatan dan mimpi

Daniel 1:19

Daniel 1:21

Maka Daniel tinggal di sana sampai tahun yang pertama zaman pemerintahan Raja Kores

Daniel 8:1

Pada tahun ketiga dalam zaman pemerintahan Raja Belsyazar tampaklah kepadaku Daniel suatu penglihatan selepas penglihatan yang kulihat sebelumnya

Daniel 8:15

Sewaktu aku Daniel sedang melihat penglihatan itu dan berusaha memahaminya tiba-tiba berdirilah di hadapanku sesuatu yang serupa manusia

Daniel 8:27

Aku Daniel menjadi lemah dan sakit selama beberapa hari Setelah itu aku bangun semula dan melaksanakan urusan raja Aku kehairanan dengan penglihatan itu dan tidak dapat memahaminya

Daniel 9:2

Pada tahun yang pertama dalam zaman pemerintahannya itu aku Daniel mengamati dalam kitab-kitab bahawa menurut firman Tuhan kepada Nabi Yeremia jumlah tahun sebelum berakhirnya keruntuhan Yerusalem ialah tujuh puluh tahun

Daniel 9:22

Dia mengajarku serta berbicara dengan aku katanya Daniel sekarang aku datang untuk memberikan kepadamu akal budi dan pengertian

Daniel 10:1

Pada tahun ketiga dalam zaman pemerintahan Kores raja Parsi suatu hal dinyatakan kepada Daniel yang diberi nama Beltsazar Hal itu benar dan mengenai suatu peperangan yang besar Dia memahami hal itu dan mendapat pengertiannya melalui penglihatan

Daniel 10:2

Pada waktu itu aku Daniel sedang berkabung selama tiga minggu penuh

Daniel 10:7

Hanya aku Daniel yang melihat penglihatan itu Orang yang ada bersamaku tidak melihat penglihatan itu tetapi kegentaran yang besar melanda mereka sehingga mereka lari menyembunyikan diri

Daniel 10:11

Katanya kepadaku Hai Daniel orang yang sangat dikasihi perhatikanlah kata-kata yang kusampaikan kepadamu dan berdirilah tegak kerana sekarang aku diutus kepadamu Setelah ia menyampaikan kata-kata itu kepadaku berdirilah aku dengan gementar

Daniel 10:12

Katanya lagi kepadaku Jangan takut Daniel kerana sejak hari pertama engkau menetapkan hati untuk mendapat pengertian dan merendahkan diri di hadapan Allahmu permintaanmu telah didengar Aku ini datang kerana permintaanmu itu

Daniel 12:4

Tetapi engkau Daniel rahsiakanlah kata-kata ini dan materaikanlah kitab itu sampai akhir zaman Ramai orang akan pergi ke sana ke mari dan pengetahuan akan bertambah

Daniel 12:5

Ketika aku Daniel mengamat-amati tampaklah dua orang lain berdiri seorang di tepi sungai seberang sini seorang di tepi sungai seberang sana

Daniel 12:9

Jawabnya Pergilah Daniel kerana kata-kata ini akan dirahsiakan dan dimateraikan sehingga akhir zaman
