Diangkutnya patung Asyera dari Bait Tuhan ke luar Yerusalem ke Sungai Kidron lalu dibakarnya di tepi Sungai Kidron Setelah itu ditumbuknya menjadi debu dan dicampakkannya debu itu ke atas kuburan rakyat jelata

Disingkirkannya segala kuda rata yang dipersembahkan kepada matahari oleh raja-raja Yehuda di pintu masuk Bait Tuhan dekat bilik Natan-Melekh pegawai istana yang tinggal di astaka Segala kuda rata matahari itu turut dibakarnya dengan api

Bahkan mazbah-mazbah di Betel iaitu bukit pemujaan yang dibuat oleh Yerobeam anak Nebat sehingga orang Israel turut berdosa dirobohkannya juga Dibakarnya bukit pemujaan itu ditumbuknya menjadi debu lalu dibakarnya juga patung-patung Asyera

Di atas mazbah-mazbah itu dibantainya semua imam bukit-bukit pemujaan yang ada di situ lalu dibakarnya tulang-tulang manusia di atasnya Setelah itu kembalilah dia ke Yerusalem
