Kemudian raja berdiri dekat tiang Diikatnya perjanjian di hadapan Tuhan untuk hidup mengikuti Tuhan dan berpegang teguh pada segala perintah-Nya peraturan-Nya serta ketetapan-Nya dengan segenap hati dan jiwa juga untuk melaksanakan kata-kata perjanjian yang tertulis dalam kitab itu Seluruh rakyat pun turut serta dalam perjanjian itu
