1 Peter 3:18

Kristus juga telah mati sekali untuk selama-lamanya kerana dosa kita Dia yang benar telah menderita untuk orang yang tidak benar supaya Dia dapat membawa kita kepada Allah Dia telah dibunuh secara jasmani tetapi dihidupkan semula sebagai Roh

Dia tidak meneruskan hidupnya secara jasmani untuk memuaskan nafsu insani tetapi untuk melakukan kehendak Allah

Itulah sebabnya Injil juga disampaikan kepada orang yang telah mati supaya mereka yang dihakimi sebagai manusia secara jasmani dapat hidup secara rohani menurut kehendak Allah
