Oleh sebab itulah kami berasa terhibur Tetapi selain itu kami berasa lebih gembira lagi melihat kegembiraan Titus kerana kamu telah menenteramkan hatinya

Oleh sebab itulah aku menulis segala ini sebelum aku berada di hadapanmu Dengan demikian apabila aku berhadapan denganmu kelak tidaklah perlu aku berkeras terhadapmu melalui kekuasaan yang telah diberikan Tuhan kepadaku untuk meneguhkanmu bukan merosakkanmu
