Romans 7:25

Syukur kepada Allah melalui Yesus Kristus Tuhan kita Oleh itu dalam jiwaku aku mengabdi kepada hukum Allah tetapi dalam sifat tabii yang berdosa aku mengabdi kepada hukum dosa

Romans 8:4

Allah berbuat demikian supaya kita dapat menunaikan kehendak-kehendak hukum dalam diri kita dengan sepenuhnya mengikut kehendak Roh dan bukan mengikut kehendak sifat tabii

Romans 8:5

Bagi orang yang hidup menurut sifat tabii yang berdosa fikirannya tertumpu kepada apa yang diingini oleh sifat tabii itu tetapi bagi orang yang hidup menurut Roh jiwanya tertumpu kepada apa yang diingini oleh Roh

Fikiran yang dikuasai oleh sifat tabii yang berdosa adalah kematian Tetapi fikiran yang dikuasai oleh Roh adalah kehidupan dan kesejahteraan

Romans 8:7

Fikiran sifat tabii yang berdosa memusuhi Allah kerana fikiran demikian tidak tunduk kepada hukum Allah dan tidak dapat berbuat demikian

Romans 8:8

Orang yang dikawal oleh sifat tabii yang berdosa tidak berupaya mendapat keredaan Allah

Romans 8:9

Tetapi kamu dikawal bukan oleh sifat tabii yang berdosa tetapi oleh Roh jika Roh Allah hidup dalam dirimu Dan jika seseorang tidak ada Roh Kristus dia bukanlah milik Kristus

Dengan demikian saudara-saudaraku kita ada kewajipan tetapi bukan terhadap sifat tabii yang berdosa dan hidup menurut sifat tabii itu

Dengan demikian saudara-saudaraku kita ada kewajipan tetapi bukan terhadap sifat tabii yang berdosa dan hidup menurut sifat tabii itu
