Setelah Rahel melahirkan Yusuf Yakub berkata kepada Laban Izinkanlah aku pergi Aku hendak pulang ke negeriku ke tempat kelahiranku

Sesudah itu pergilah Musa dan Harun menghadap Firaun lalu berkata Beginilah firman Tuhan Allah Israel Izinkanlah umat-Ku pergi supaya mereka dapat mengadakan perayaan bagi-Ku di gurun

Tuhan berfirman kepada Musa Bangunlah pagi-pagi lalu nantikanlah Firaun ketika lazimnya dia keluar ke sungai Katakanlah kepadanya Beginilah firman Tuhan Izinkanlah umat-Ku pergi supaya mereka dapat beribadat kepada-Ku
