Judges 6:10

Dan Aku berfirman kepadamu bahawa Akulah Tuhan Allahmu maka janganlah kamu menyembah tuhan orang Amori yang negeri mereka kamu diami ini Tetapi kamu tidak mentaati firman-Ku itu

AV: And I said <0559> (8799) unto you, I [am] the LORD <03068> your God <0430>; fear <03372> (8799) not the gods <0430> of the Amorites <0567>, in whose land <0776> ye dwell <03427> (8802): but ye have not obeyed <08085> (8804) my voice <06963>.

2 Kings 17:7

Hal itu terjadi kerana orang Israel berdosa terhadap Tuhan Allah mereka yang telah menuntun mereka keluar dari Tanah Mesir daripada genggaman Firaun raja Mesir Mereka menyembah tuhan-tuhan lain

Ketika mereka mula-mula tinggal di sana mereka tidak menyembah Tuhan Oleh sebab itu Tuhan melepaskan singa-singa di tengah-tengah mereka sehingga terbunuh beberapa orang daripada mereka

AV: And [so] it was at the beginning <08462> of their dwelling <03427> (8800) there, [that] they feared <03372> (8804) not the LORD <03068>: therefore the LORD <03068> sent <07971> (8762) lions <0738> among them, which slew <02026> (8802) [some] of them.

2 Kings 17:28

Maka datanglah seorang imam yang telah dibuang dari Samaria lalu tinggal di Betel Dia mengajar mereka cara seharusnya menyembah Tuhan

2 Kings 17:32

Di samping itu mereka pun menyembah Tuhan dan mengangkat daripada kalangan mereka imam untuk bukit-bukit pemujaan yang mempersembahkan korban bagi mereka dalam kuil di bukit-bukit pemujaan itu

2 Kings 17:33

Jadi mereka menyembah Tuhan tetapi juga beribadat kepada berhala-berhala mereka menurut kebiasaan bangsa-bangsa tempat asal mereka

2 Kings 17:34

Sampai hari ini mereka terus menjalankan kebiasaan-kebiasaan mereka yang terdahulu Mereka tidak menyembah Tuhan dan tidak mengikuti segala ketetapan peraturan hukum atau perintah yang diberikan Tuhan kepada bani Yakub yang Dia namakan Israel itu

Dengan orang Israel Tuhan telah mengikat perjanjian serta memberikan perintah Jangan menyembah tuhan-tuhan lain Jangan sujud beribadat ataupun mempersembahkan korban kepada tuhan-tuhan itu

Kesemua ketetapan peraturan hukum dan perintah yang telah dituliskan-Nya bagimu harus kamu pegang teguh dengan melakukannya sepanjang masa Jangan menyembah tuhan-tuhan lain

AV: And the statutes <02706>, and the ordinances <04941>, and the law <08451>, and the commandment <04687>, which he wrote <03789> (8804) for you, ye shall observe <08104> (8799) to do <06213> (8800) for evermore <03117>; and ye shall not fear <03372> (8799) other <0312> gods <0430>.

2 Kings 17:39

Sebaliknya kamu harus menyembah Tuhan Allahmu Dialah yang akan melepaskan kamu daripada tangan semua musuhmu

AV: But the LORD <03068> your God <0430> ye shall fear <03372> (8799); and he shall deliver <05337> (8686) you out of the hand <03027> of all your enemies <0341> (8802).

Jadi mereka menyembah Tuhan tetapi juga beribadat kepada patung-patung ukiran mereka begitu jugalah anak cucu mereka Sampai hari ini mereka melakukan apa yang dilakukan oleh nenek moyang mereka

AV: So these nations <01471> feared <03373> the LORD <03068>, and served <05647> (8802) their graven images <06456>, both their children <01121>, and their children's <01121> children <01121>: as did <06213> (8804) their fathers <01>, so do <06213> (8802) they unto this day <03117>.
