Sambil memperhatikan gadis itu orang itu berdiam diri untuk mengetahui sama ada Tuhan membuat perjalanannya berhasil atau tidak

Genesis 32:1

Yakub meneruskan perjalanannya lalu para malaikat Allah datang menemuinya

Pada waktu pagi ketika tuannya bangun lalu membuka pintu rumah dan pergi ke luar untuk menyambung perjalanannya tampaklah kepadanya gundiknya sedang terbujur di depan pintu rumah dengan tangannya pada ambang pintu

Dengan kata-kata itu Daud menahan anak buahnya dan tidak mengizinkan mereka untuk menyerang Saul Sementara itu Saul bergegas meninggalkan gua untuk melanjutkan perjalanannya

Kata Saul kepada Daud Semoga engkau diberkati wahai anakku Daud Engkau akan melakukan banyak hal dan pasti berjaya Daud pun meneruskan perjalanannya manakala Saul pulang ke tempatnya
