Tuhan menyebabkan bani Amori berasa amat cemas di hadapan orang Israel sehingga mereka ditumpaskan dengan kekalahan yang sebegitu besar di Gibeon Orang Israel mengejar mereka ke arah genting Bet-Horon dan menumpurkan mereka sampai ke Azeka dan Makeda
