Joshua 3:8

Hendaklah engkau memerintahkan sedemikian kepada para imam pengusung tabut perjanjian itu Sesudah kamu sampai di pinggir air Sungai Yordan hendaklah kamu berdiri tanpa bergerak-gerak di Sungai Yordan itu

Joshua 3:13

Nanti apabila telapak kaki para imam pengusung tabut Tuhan Tuhan semesta bumi berhenti di dalam air Sungai Yordan air Sungai Yordan akan terputus Air yang turun dari hulu akan tertahan menjadi satu timbunan

Lalu ketika para pengusung tabut sampai di Sungai Yordan dan kaki para imam pengusung tabut itu tercelup di pinggir air itu sememangnya Sungai Yordan meluap keseluruhan tebingnya selama musim menuai

Joshua 3:17

Para imam pengusung tabut perjanjian Tuhan itu berdiri tegap di atas tanah yang kering di tengah-tengah Sungai Yordan sementara seluruh orang Israel menyeberang di atas tanah yang kering sehingga seluruh umat Israel selesai menyeberangi Sungai Yordan

Yosua mendirikan pula dua belas batu di tengah-tengah Sungai Yordan di tempat kaki para imam pengusung tabut perjanjian itu berdiri Batu-batu itu masih ada di sana sampai hari ini

Para imam pengusung tabut itu terus berdiri di tengah-tengah Sungai Yordan sehingga segala sesuatu yang diperintahkan Tuhan kepada Yosua untuk disampaikan kepada bangsa itu selesai dilaksanakan sebagaimana yang diperintahkan Musa kepada Yosua Selepas itu bergegaslah umat itu menyeberang

Perintahkanlah para imam pengusung tabut loh hukum itu untuk keluar dari Sungai Yordan

Ketika para imam pengusung tabut perjanjian Tuhan itu keluar dari tengah-tengah Sungai Yordan dan ketika telapak kaki para imam memijak daratan maka air Sungai Yordan itu kembali ke tempatnya semula dan mengalir melimpahi pinggirnya seperti sebelumnya
