Deuteronomy 2:14

Selama tiga puluh lapan tahun kita berjalan dari Kadesh-Barnea ke seberang Sungai Zered hingga seluruh angkatan pejuang musnah dari perkhemahan seperti yang telah disumpahkan Tuhan kepada mereka

Deuteronomy 11:9

dan supaya lanjut umurmu di tanah yang telah disumpahkan Tuhan kepada nenek moyangmu untuk memberikannya kepada mereka serta keturunan mereka iaitu negeri yang berlimpah-limpah susu dan madu

Deuteronomy 11:21

Dengan demikian akan panjanglah umurmu dan umur anak-anakmu di negeri yang telah disumpahkan Tuhan untuk memberikannya kepada nenek moyangmu selama langit ada di atas bumi

Datanglah kepada imam yang ada pada waktu itu dan katakanlah kepadanya Pada hari ini aku menyatakan di hadapan Tuhan Allahmu bahawa aku telah memasuki negeri yang telah disumpahkan Tuhan untuk memberikannya kepada nenek moyang kita

Kasihilah Tuhan Allahmu patuhilah Dia dan berpautlah kepada-Nya Sesungguhnya Dialah sumber hidupmu dan yang membuat umurmu panjang sehingga engkau dapat tinggal di tanah yang telah disumpahkan Tuhan untuk memberikannya kepada nenek moyangmu iaitu Abraham Ishak dan Yakub
