Katanya Tuan-tuan kumohon semoga tuan-tuan bersinggahlah di rumah hambamu ini dan bermalamlah Basuhlah kaki tuan-tuan esok pagi tuan-tuan dapat melanjutkan perjalanan Jawab mereka Tak perlu susah-susah kerana kami akan bermalam di kawasan lapang sahaja

Sebaliknya jika ada orang yang tidak bernajis yang bukan dalam perjalanan namun dia lalai merayakan Paskah maka hendaklah orang itu disingkirkan daripada kalangan bangsanya kerana dia tidak mempersembahkan persembahan kepada Tuhan pada waktu yang ditetapkan maka perlulah dia menanggung dosanya

Maksudnya supaya jangan dalam amarah orang yang menuntut bela atas hutang darah itu mengejar pembunuh itu dan dapat menyusul dia kerana jauhnya perjalanan menuju kota itu lalu menghukumnya mati padahal orang itu tidak patut dihukum mati kerana sebelumnya dia tidak membenci kawannya
