Numbers 3:12

Sesungguhnya Aku mengambil bani Lewi dalam kalangan orang Israel sebagai ganti semua anak sulung iaitu yang lahir pertama daripada rahim antara orang Israel Jadi bani Lewi ialah kepunyaan-Ku

Numbers 3:13

kerana semua anak sulung ialah kepunyaan-Ku Pada waktu Aku menewaskan semua anak sulung di Tanah Mesir Aku mentahbiskan bagi-Ku semua yang sulung di Israel baik manusia mahupun haiwan Semua itu kepunyaan-Ku Akulah Tuhan
