Akan tetapi Yunus melarikan diri ke Tarsis jauh dari hadirat Tuhan Maka pergilah dia ke Yope dan setelah menemui sebuah kapal dia membayar tambangnya dan belayar dengan orang lain ke Tarsis jauh dari hadirat Tuhan
