Umat itu berdiri jauh-jauh tetapi Musa menghampiri kepekatan yang menyelubungi hadirat Allah

Exodus 24:2

Musa sahaja yang boleh menghampiri Tuhan tetapi umat yang lain tidak boleh datang dekat-dekat Umat itu juga tidak boleh naik bersama-samanya

Exodus 30:20

Sebelum mereka masuk ke dalam Khemah Pertemuan hendaklah mereka menyucikan diri mereka dengan air agar mereka tidak mati dan begitu jugalah halnya sewaktu mereka menghampiri mazbah untuk menyelenggarakan peribadatan dengan membakar korban kepada Tuhan
