Sia-sia sahaja Aku menghukum anak-anakmu mereka tidak mahu menerima pengajaran Pedangmu sendiri telah memakan habis para nabimu seperti singa yang membinasakan

Mengenai kamu jangan dengarkan nabimu penenungmu tukang mimpimu peramalmu atau tukang sihirmu yang berkata kepadamu Kamu tidak akan takluk kepada raja Babel

Aku pun berbicara kepada para imam dan kepada seluruh rakyat itu demikian Beginilah firman Tuhan Jangan dengarkan perkataan para nabimu yang menyampaikan nubuat kepadamu Sesungguhnya segala alat kelengkapan Bait Tuhan akan segera dikembalikan dari Babel Mereka menyampaikan nubuat dusta kepadamu

Di manakah para nabimu yang menyampaikan nubuat kepadamu demikian Raja Babel tidak akan mendatangi kamu ataupun negeri ini
