Exodus 12:48

Apabila seorang pendatang yang tinggal di tengah-tengah kalangan kamu mahu merayakan Paskah juga bagi Tuhan maka semua lelaki yang ada bersama-samanya harus disunatkan dahulu Setelah itu barulah dia boleh datang untuk merayakannya Dia akan dianggap sama dengan warga asli Tetapi orang yang tidak bersunat tidak boleh memakannya

Exodus 31:16

Oleh sebab itu orang Israel hendaklah memelihara hari Sabat dengan merayakannya turun-temurun sebagai suatu perjanjian yang berkekalan

Mereka harus merayakannya pada waktu senja hari keempat belas dalam bulan kedua Hendaklah mereka makan korban Paskah dengan roti yang tidak beragi dan sayur pahit

2 Chronicles 30:5

Mereka memutuskan untuk menyiarkan pengumuman di seluruh Israel dari Bersyeba sampai Dan supaya orang datang ke Yerusalem untuk merayakan Paskah bagi Tuhan Allah Israel Mereka memang belum pernah merayakannya secara menyeluruh dan besar-besaran di seluruh negeri sebagaimana yang tertulis
