Lalu Musa dan Harun melaksanakan seperti yang diperintahkan oleh Tuhan Di hadapan Firaun serta para pegawainya Harun mengangkat tongkatnya dan memukulkannya pada air di Sungai Nil Maka seluruh air di Sungai Nil berubah menjadi darah

Elia mengambil jubahnya menggulungnya dan memukulkannya ke air sungai itu Maka air itu pun terbelah ke sebelah kiri dan kanan lalu kedua-dua orang itu menyeberang di tengah-tengah iaitu di atas tanah kering
