Exodus 7:19

Firman Tuhan lagi kepada Musa Katakanlah kepada Harun Ambillah tongkatmu dan hulurkanlah tanganmu ke atas perairan di Mesir iaitu ke atas sungai-sungainya segala terusannya segala kolamnya dan ke atas setiap penampungan airnya maka semua itu akan berubah menjadi darah Dengan demikian akan ada darah di seluruh Tanah Mesir baik di dalam tahang kayu mahupun di dalam tempayan batu

Exodus 14:16

Kemudian engkau angkatlah tongkatmu hulurkanlah tanganmu ke atas laut dan belahlah airnya sehingga orang Israel dapat berjalan di tempat yang kering di tengah laut
