Exodus 4:23

dan telah Kufirman kepadamu Benarkanlah anak-Ku itu pergi supaya dia menyembah Aku tetapi kamu enggan melepaskannya Lihatlah Aku akan membunuh anak lelakimu yang sulung

Deuteronomy 7:3

Jangan saling berkahwin dengan mereka Jangan berikan anak perempuanmu kepada anak lelaki mereka dan jangan ambil anak perempuan mereka untuk menjadi isteri kepada anak lelakimu

kerana mereka akan membuat anak lelakimu menyimpang tidak lagi mengikuti Aku dan kemudian beribadat kepada tuhan-tuhan lain Jika demikian halnya maka murka Tuhan akan menyala atas kamu dan Dia akan membinasakan kamu dengan segera
