Exodus 3:20

Maka kuasa-Ku akan mengazab Tanah Mesir dengan pelbagai keajaiban yang akan Kuadakan di tengah-tengah mereka Sesudah itu barulah dia akan mengizinkan kamu pergi

Exodus 8:21

kerana jika engkau tidak mengizinkan umat-Ku pergi maka akan Kubuat kawanan lalat mendatangimu mendatangi para pegawaimu rakyatmu serta rumah-rumahmu Rumah orang Mesir akan penuh dengan kawanan lalat dan begitu jugalah bumi yang dipijak mereka itu

Exodus 8:28

Kata Firaun Aku akan mengizinkan kamu pergi mempersembahkan korban kepada Tuhan Allahmu di gurun Hanya janganlah pergi terlalu jauh dan berdoalah untukku

Exodus 9:17

Meskipun demikian engkau masih sahaja meninggikan diri terhadap umat-Ku dan tidak mengizinkan mereka pergi

Berdoalah kepada Tuhan Cukuplah sudah guruh yang luar biasa dan hujan batu ini Aku akan mengizinkan kamu pergi Tidak usah lagi kamu tinggal di sini

Kata Firaun kepada mereka Semoga Tuhan menyertai kamu seandainya aku mengizinkan kamu pergi bersama-sama anak-anakmu Lihat kamu memang berniat jahat

Tuhan berfirman kepada Musa Aku akan mendatangkan satu azab lagi atas Firaun dan atas Mesir sesudah itu barulah dia akan mengizinkan kamu pergi dari sini dan dia akan benar-benar mengusir kamu dari sini

Exodus 13:15

Pada waktu Firaun berkeras hati enggan mengizinkan kami pergi Tuhan menamatkan usia semua anak sulung di Tanah Mesir daripada anak sulung manusia sampai anak sulung haiwan Itulah sebabnya aku mempersembahkan kepada Tuhan semua binatang jantan yang lahir pertama daripada rahim sedangkan semua anak sulung antara anak lelakiku pun kutebus
