Exodus 3:7

Berfirmanlah Tuhan Aku telah menyaksikan penindasan umat-Ku di Mesir dan mendengar rintihan mereka kerana dianiayai oleh para tukang kerah mereka Aku tahu tentang keperitan yang dialami mereka

Exodus 5:6

Maka pada hari itu juga Firaun memberikan perintah demikian kepada para tukang kerah orang Israel itu dan kepada para mandur mereka

Para tukang kerah terus mendesak mereka dengan berkata Selesaikanlah pekerjaanmu sehari-hari seperti pada waktu ada jerami

Exodus 5:14

Lalu para tukang kerah Firaun memukul para mandur orang Israel yang diangkat oleh mereka untuk menyelia bangsa mereka sambil berkata Mengapa kelmarin ataupun hari ini jumlah batu bata yang kamu buat tidak menurut jumlah yang ditetapkan iaitu seperti dahulu

Job 3:18

Para tahanan pun berasa tenang bersama-sama mereka tidak lagi mendengar suara si tukang kerah
