Exodus 2:24

Allah mendengar keluhan mereka dan mengingati perjanjian-Nya dengan Abraham Ishak dan Yakub

Deuteronomy 4:13

Seandainya dalam kalangan kamu didapati seorang lelaki atau perempuan yang melakukan sesuatu yang jahat di mata Tuhan Allahmu di salah sebuah kota yang dikurniakan Tuhan Allahmu kepadamu yakni dia melanggar perjanjian-Nya

Hal itu terjadi kerana mereka tidak mahu mematuhi Tuhan Allah mereka Sebaliknya mereka melanggar perjanjian-Nya iaitu segala sesuatu yang diperintahkan oleh Musa hamba Tuhan itu Mereka tidak mahu mendengar dan tidak mahu melakukannya
