Ezra 10:2

Lalu Sekhanya anak Yehiel daripada bani Elam berkata kepada Ezra Kami telah berbuat mungkar terhadap Allah kita kerana kami telah memperisteri perempuan asing daripada bangsa-bangsa negeri ini Tetapi sekarang masih ada harapan bagi orang Israel sehubungan dengan hal ini

Ezra 10:10

Kemudian Imam Ezra berdiri dan berkata kepada mereka Kamu telah berbuat mungkar Kamu telah memperisteri perempuan asing sehingga kesalahan orang Israel bertambah-tambah

Ezra 10:14

Biarlah para pemimpin kami mewakili seluruh jemaah Kemudian biarlah semua orang di kota-kota kami yang memperisteri perempuan asing datang menghadap pada waktu-waktu tertentu bersama-sama para tua-tua dan para hakim setiap kota sampai murka Allah kita yang menyala-nyala kerana hal ini dijauhkan daripada kami

Ezra 10:17

dan pada hari pertama pada bulan pertama urusan mengenai semua orang yang memperisteri perempuan asing itu telah diselesaikan mereka

Antara keturunan imam didapati beberapa orang yang memperisteri perempuan asing iaitu Daripada bani Yesua anak Yozadak dan saudara-saudaranya Maaseya Eliezer Yarib dan Gedalya

Nehemiah 13:23

Pada waktu itu juga kulihat beberapa orang Yahudi telah memperisteri perempuan bangsa Asdod Amon dan Moab
