Ezra 6:16

Kemudian orang Israel para imam bani Lewi dan semua yang lain yang pulang daripada pembuangan merayakan perasmian Rumah Allah itu dengan gembira

Ezra 6:18

Mereka melantik secara rasmi para imam menurut regu mereka dan bani Lewi menurut regu mereka untuk beribadat kepada Allah yang bersemayam di Yerusalem seperti yang tertulis dalam Kitab Suci Taurat yang disampaikan Allah melalui Musa

Ezra 7:13

Aku memberikan perintah bahawa sesiapa daripada orang Israel di seluruh jajahan pemerintahanku termasuk para imamnya atau bani Lewi dan yang ingin pergi ke Yerusalem bolehlah pergi bersama-samamu

Ezra 7:24

Tambahan pula dengan ini kami memberitahumu bahawa tidak boleh dikenakan cukai ufti atau bea kepada sesiapa sahaja daripada para imam bani Lewi penyanyi penjaga pintu gerbang pelayan Bait Suci dan pekerja Rumah Allah itu
