Pada hari ketiga ketika warga lelaki mereka masih kesakitan dua orang anak Yakub iaitu Simeon dan Lewi para abang kepada Dina mengambil pedang masing-masing lalu memasuki kota itu dengan tenang lalu membunuh semua lelaki di situ
