Raja Herodes amat murka terhadap orang Tirus dan Sidon Oleh yang demikian mereka datang bersama-sama untuk menghadap Raja Herodes Pertama sekali mereka mendapatkan sokongan Blastus ketua istana Raja Herodes Selepas itu mereka menghadap Raja Herodes dan meminta berdamai kerana bekalan makanan negeri mereka bergantung kepada negeri Raja Herodes
